Constituido en 2017 en la UCH, el G-ReSP tiene por objetivo conformar un grupo estable de investigación de naturaleza interdisciplinar sobre las conexiones históricas, culturales, institucionales y conceptuales existentes entre Religión y Política, con especial detenimiento en sus conflictos y mutuo condicionamiento y en el desarrollo del catolicismo social en la España contemporánea (XIX-XX).
